AMERICAN NIGHTMARE and DEADLY EYES Oct. 25th



Saturday Night Sinema brings you a double bill of Canadian Tax Shelter Classics!

This October, we present a double bill of horror from the great white north! First, the 1983 slasher An American Nightmare. Producer Ray Sager (who also played the titular lead character in Herschell Gordon Lewis' The Wizard of Gore) will be in attendance to present the film.

The second feature of the night at 11pm is the 1982 killer rats epic Deadly Eyes, directed by Robert Clouse (Enter The Dragon and Gymkata) The folks from the Trash Palace in Toronto will present the film.

Both features are presented in 16mm. Trailers and prizes will be included.

Super Fly and The Super Cops Feb 23rd @ Club SAW




Saturday Night Sinema is back at Club SAW on Feb 23rd for a double bill extravaganza!

For Black History month we'll be playing "Superfly" and "The Super Cops" starting at 10:00pm. Both films are on 16mm film.

Club SAW is located in the Arts Court Building at 67 Nicholas St. close to the market. Tickets are $5.00 and refreshments will be on hand.

Hopefully will have our new 16mm projector up and running for the screening...which will be housed in a booth along with a 35mm projector. By March we should have the 35mm up and running for our next screening.

CAGED WOMEN JAN. 26th at 11:15pm



Saturday Night Sinema continues the last Saturday night of every month with classic grindhouse movies from around the globe.

January's feature presentation is the 1982 women-in-prison epic Caged Women (Violence in a Women's Prison) starring Indonesian beauty Laura Gemser and directed by the late Italian sleazemaster Bruno Mattei.

Presented in glorious 35mm!!

WARNING! Not for the squeamish, faint of heart or the pansy-ish!!!

Admission is $5.00 at the door. Box office opens at 10:30pm
Prizes will be given away, plus will be playing a classic trailer reel before the feature of flicks from the 60's, 70's and 80's

NOTE: This will be the last screening at the Mayfair Theatre. By February, Saturday Night Sinema's new home will be at Club Saw permanently.
