This December's feature is the 1976 thriller Strange Shadows In An Empty Room. Produced by an Italian company and shot and set in Ottawa and Montreal, this film follows the exploits of a hard boiled Ottawa cop (Academy Award nominee Stuart Whitman) as he investigates the mysterious death of his sister who was a college student in Montreal. Car chases, brawls and kung fu fighting transvestites are all part of the package in this rare and offbeat action thriller. Also starring Martin Landau, John Saxon, Tisa Farrow. Strange Shadows in an Empty Room will be playing at CLUB SAW SATURDAY DEC 29th. Unreleased on DVD and out of print on VHS.

Saturday Night Sinema brings you non-stop action with "Licence to Steal"
a 1990 Asian action film starring former Miss Hong Kong Joyce Godenzi and produced by her husband, action legend Sammo Hung.
Godenzi plays an acrobat/thief who's out to take revenge against her ex-partner who made her take the fall and go to prison on their last job together. Two bumbling cops follow her trail before they learn who the real villian is.
Also starring Richard Ng and Yuen Biao.
